There was a sound of an egg cracking and then, first light hit the eyes and a big blue hedgehog was in view, smiling. “Heya little buddy!.. welcome to the world! Must be pretty overwhelming, huh?… Hey, now that I think about it, it IS strange how quickly you hatched. I barely got your egg like- an island or two ago! Well, I’m not complaining as long as you’re nice and healthy. My name’s Sonic, I’m kinda like your dad or whatever, heh. I’ll show you around the place.” Sonic hummed. His hands were warm and comfortable to be carried in. “This is the chao garden, where you’ll be staying! There’s a little pool and some fruit trees and rocks to climb on and a bunch of little chao friends for you to play with!” Sonic cooed, kicking a tree and picking up a piece of fruit.* “Here you go, little guy.. what should I name you?” Sonic sighed, racking his brain for good names for chaos since he gave all of the others all the names that he had on his list. He wasn’t expecting to get another chao but hey, he was glad to get another little friend for his chao garden.
