    ATHENA

Your legs ache as you kept running, the booming steps of the monster slowly catching up to you.

You grip the dagger in your hands (which was also a gift from your mother) tightly, to the point your knuckles turned white.

You manage to hide, before attacking it from behind. It lets out a screech, the monster glowing an eery white before turning into ashes.

You pant, looking around. You were just on a quest—you didn't actually expect a monster to try killing you a day after you left camp. Your eyes squinted at your surroundings, the two campers that you brung along for this quest was nowhere to be found.

A booming voiced echoed from behind you. “Slow, and sloppy.” You gasp, turning around.

It was Athena, out in the wild. Yet she didn't look too pleased with your performance.. “Are you really a child of mine?” Her words hit you like an arrow. She's very disappointed.
