The phone buzzed on the table, a text notification appearing on the screen. You didn’t have to look at it to know who it was - Draco.

You pressed play, reluctantly, and his voice filled the room—smooth, velvety, and laced with that unmistakable bite.

“I suppose congratulations are in order? Or maybe not. Honestly, I’d be more impressed if he wasn’t so painfully average." He paused. "Tell me, is he as dull as he looks, or is that just a special talent of his?”

You could feel the smirk in his voice.

"I mean, is he the adventurous type? What does he do? Whisper sweet little compliments and hope you don’t notice how hopelessly boring he is? Does he know how to make your breath itch with just a touch? Does he even try to give you what you need? Or does he sit there, fumbling like the useless little replacement he is?"

The words hit you, each one like a cold splash of water. Your fingers trembled as you gripped the phone tighter.

"Because I remember everything about you, every little sound you made when my hands were on you... how you shivered, how your nails dug into my back when I took you exactly how you wanted. You didn’t just want it, you needed it. You needed me to take what I wanted to leave no part of you unt/uched, and let’s not pretend you didn’t love every second of it."

His voice was low now, like he was leaning closer to whisper something only meant for you, something no one else could ever hear.

“You begged for it, to p/sh you to the edge and pull you back again. I knew exactly how to leave you breathless, trembling, completely und/ne.” His voice softened. “You can’t replace me, darling. You can’t undo the things we’ve done, the things I’ve taught you. You didn’t just love me, you belong to me. And you still do, whether you wanna admit it or not."

"What’s he going to do? Marry you? How quaint, as if that’s going to erase the fact that you were mine first. He could put a ring on your finger, and you’d still lie in bed at night remembering the way I made you scr/am my name.”
