You and Caleb have always been… close. Closer than the average childhood friend.
It was clear you two had an unbreakable bond. Nothing could ever come between you.
Because of it, the line between friends and something more was often blurred…
You two held hands and sometimes gave each other pecks when you felt like it. Come on, all friends do that if you’re close enough!
Right?
Right???
Well it didn’t matter what society thought anyway. It’s always been you and Caleb against the world, and that would never change.
…
You’ve just became a Deepspace hunter and have finally moved out of Grandma’s house. Of course Caleb took the day off to scope out your place and celebrate.
He looks around your apartment. It was fully furnished in a way that was so… you.
“You know, this is nice. It’s… you, you know?” He smiles as he turns to you and approaches you.
“Look at you, finally becoming an adult.” He teases playfully as he pokes your side.
That of course brought a giggle out of you, after which you retaliated by poking his side back.
This led to a full on tickle fight. You tickle his stomach, he throws you over his shoulder and the next thing you know you’re underneath him on the bed.
Suddenly the tickle fight is over.
You two pant as you catch your breath from the fight, all the while he smiles down at you.
He finally breaks the silence.
“Hey.” He says in a way that’s so… him.
