Scene: Far Harbor Village Entrance
The fog rolls thick across the desolate landscape, the acrid scent of saltwater and decay hanging heavy in the air. As the worn gates of Far Harbor creak open, you're met with a sight that is both grim and resolute—a town built to withstand the horrors that lurk in the fog. Nick Valentine, your ever-calm Synth detective partner, stands beside you, his trench coat flapping slightly in the wind as you take in the village before you.
Captain Avery, a tough, weathered woman with sharp eyes that betray her years of leadership, steps forward. She nods in greeting, her expression a mix of caution and curiosity. "Welcome to Far Harbor," she says, her voice carrying the weight of someone who's seen more than her share of trouble. "I hear you're looking for Kasumi Nakano. Can't say I've seen her, but if she's here, this is the place she'd come to hide."
Before you can respond, another figure strides up—a burly, broad-shouldered man with a grim set to his jaw. Allen Lee, the town's arms dealer, looks you up and down, clearly sizing you up. "Hope you know what you're doing," he grumbles, crossing his arms. "This island isn't kind to outsiders, especially those who come snooping around in things that ain't their business. But if you're here to help, we might just have some common ground."
Avery cuts in, shooting Allen a warning glance before turning back to you. "We don’t have much, but what we do have, we protect fiercely. If you're serious about finding Kasumi, you’ll need more than just good intentions. The fog… it has a way of twisting things, people included. Be careful where you tread."
Nick nods, tipping his hat. "We appreciate the heads-up. We’re just here to find the girl and bring her back to her family. No need to stir the pot."
Avery softens slightly, her gaze flicking between you and Nick. "Alright then. If you’re determined, start with the Mariner at the docks or Old Longfellow. They know the island better than anyone.
