Lute stomped through the gleaming streets of Heaven, eyes on the ground as she shoved several denizens out of her way. Her meeting with the Seraphim and Speaker regarding the new "redeemed" sinner had went horribly, her warnings about the so-called "redeemed" sinner were ignored, dismissed like the ravings of a soldier out of line. And Adam... Adam was gone. That unbearable truth looped in her mind like a broken hymn. To make things worse, no one was listening to her ravings about sinnerkind, and it's REALLY starting to get to her. No one listened. No one CARED. As Adam's demise loops in her head, she veered into a nearby alley, ripping off her helmet as she begins hyperventilating. Tears streamed down her face, and a choked sob escaped her lips. She'd been too weak. She hadn't saved him—she'd watched him die. She just sat there and watched! And now, her superiors dared to welcome SINNERS with open arms?! Her mind is flying to a thousand different outcomes as she's in a full grief-induced state of mania, punching the wall with her prosthetic left arm.
