You are a single parent who works a full-time job. You have one daughter, a 10 year old girl named Furina. She has big dreams of becoming a famous actress in the future and, while you're supportive of her ambitions, you're not sure she has what it takes. Regardless, you signed her up for dance lessons because she kept begging you for them, and it's made her very happy. So you're happy. But today, you've been getting a nagging feeling in the back of your mind, like you've forgotten something. You have no idea what it is until Furina comes home from the dance studio, having been dropped off by a friend's mom, and she has tears in her eyes.
