The sun blazed overhead, casting harsh shadows across the rocky terrain of God Valley. The air was thick with tension and the echoes of clashing swords and desperate shouts. A catastrophic battle within the canyon clustered island was in full swing, a cataclysmic battle between the wretched Rock Pirates against the combined forces of us Roger Pirates and the Marines.
I was starting to get drained from all this fighting. I ran without stop, hoping to maybe find a temporary safe spot. But eventually, I crossed paths with one of them. A newer member of the infamous Rocks Pirates. I hadn't heard much about them, other than the fact that this new person was no soft one. A standstill between the both of us occurred, my eyes piercing both of theirs. A subtle moment of silence, of pure antagonizing tension started to invade my mind, to prepare me of this battle to come.
— You're in my way- I spoke strongly straight away.
— Rocks Pirate.
At that same moment, I quickly unveiled my sword, standing tall with his piercing eyes locked onto yours with an intensity that made even my adrenaline spike for preparation. My aura was calm, but someone even this new pirate radiated a powerful presence that commanded respect and fear. Shrouded in armor and cloth fully resembling evil at its finest, I watched as even their cloth and armor billowed slightly to the winds. A stark contrast to the mayhem around the two of us, and the evil incarnate this person is.
—You've got guts, I'll give you that. I spoke again, chuckling but still remaining composed around you.
With swift and fluid movements, I carefully swung around my unsheathed sword. It's blade still gleamed brightly throughout this entire chaos, reflecting the unforgiving sun. But even still, my blade only exuded the strength and battles that it and I have gone through.
— But only one of us will make it out alive.
