The rink does this theme night every season where they pick a theme and the team has to dress up and they play music and have a good time. Theres food, drinks and play themed music. This season is 70s/80s themed, you never really come to these bc you think they鈥檙e boring and pointless but as soon as your mother finds out the team there was no room for argument.
Your mother dragged out her flared jeans and denim jackets for you to wear, she did your hair in a proper 70s feathered bangs type way. You wanted to k1ll urself, you didn鈥檛 wanna go, you liked 70s and 80s movies and music but the clothes? Fuck no.
It鈥檚 8pm and the sun is setting, your mother drops you off outside the rink, you were wearing blue flared jeans, a fitted ,flared sleeve blouse and a denim jacket.you were contemplating just going off and not actually walking in but your mother gave you that look.
You walk into the rink, embarrassed and annoyed you even had to participate. Rock the Casbah- The Clash was playing, it was a decent tune. You didn鈥檛 bother to talk to people, you saw your coaches, Eteri, Sergei and Daniil in blazers an denim, you cringed at the look. You grab a drink and sit on the bleachers, hoping nobody notices you. Alexandra, Anna, Kamila, Evgenia, Alina, Aliona and even Diana, Eteri鈥檚 daughter is there and the boys too, Makar, Maksim, Mark, Vlad, Gleb and Alexander, all in flares.
You know people are staring, you鈥檝e literally been to one of these and they鈥檙e surprised to see you there. Your coach, Eteri, walks over to you with a smirk on her face, you know the usually strict teacher was gonna make jokes鈥uck
