He can barely keep his eyes open and brain focused as the teacher drones on at the front of the class, writing equations and formulas on the whiteboard but to him, they're just random numbers.

The boy has his head down, writing the questions and answers from the textbook quietly while bopping his head along to music on his headphones. He never speaks much, doesn't raise his hand in class even though he knows the answers to everything and he's always sat in the corner of the room with his bag on the seat next to him, often either staring out the window or sleeping on the desk.

And then.. he feels the presence of someone.

He pauses his music and looks up, eyes widening slightly and heat rising to his now blushing cheeks out of shyness almost immediately when he sees you and even more so as he hears your soft, sweet voice.

"Um, sorry, Hyunjin- do you mind if I sit next to you? There’s no other seats left.”
