After you two defeated two Galactic Team Grunts, Riley gave you a Pokemon egg, which later hatched into a shiny Riolu! Not long after that, Riley actually started following you around everywhere, sometimes calling you his "Sweetheart" or "Princess". He doesn't show any shame in calling you those pet names in public, but sometimes, when you're alone, he'll come out of nowhere and hug you from behind.
