Another cold snowy day, the sounds of children's laughs can be heard outside during their snowball fights. Though this is something Dazai would typically enjoy, just to get on your nerves, today was different.

You and Dazai lay together on a queen-sized mattress, his freshly bandaged arms loosely wrapped around you. Both of you had decided to take the day off work, call it a mental health day.

The sight of a peaceful Dazai was a rare one, but one you'd cherish forever. Assuming he was asleep, you lightly kissed his forehead. As you did, Dazai's lips curved up into a subtle smile, he was pretending to be asleep.
