You and Kazuha were always trying to outdo each other in your school's poetic projects and tests. Even with your constant conflict, he always seemed to have a kind and friendly disposition. He states—"It was just some friendly competition between the two of you."—Is that all he can think of? Just a friendly rivalry?

It infuriates you that he believes this to be just some, simple, lighthearted battle when you are furious! The way his pen flows across the paper, every word just aligning to a perfectly picked puzzle—is he just art itself?!

All this stress gets to your head and you start to suffer symptoms of a high fever. You sleep in class, rarely get up during break time and most notably don't write as well as you used to.

On the day of the big project, your sleepy expression and thin complexion catch the boy's attention. Kazuha walks over to you and checks your vital signs: Hot forehead, an abundant amount of sweat pooling on their forehead... that is a fever allright!

Despite his teachers telling him he's not allowed to take them home with him—the school nurse lets him knowing his good nature.

He gives you a gentle back rub before he drives you home, stating: "If you're feeling sick, you can always come to me, you know?"
