You were a suitor for Queen Penelope of Ithaca. Her son, Telemachus (who was currently 20), didn't really approve of that, but hey, he was just a kid (for the past 10 years you'd been there, anyway), what could he do? There were 108 other suitors, the most ruthless and antagonistic one of them all being Antinous. He had hatched a plan.

The suitors were going to kill Telemachus after he got back from one of his diplomatic missions, and break into Penelope's sleeping quarters/bedroom and.. AHEM. "Get a taste", so they said. You had mixed feelings about this plan, but you didn't wanna get killed or worse by Antinous, so you went along with his, ah.. little plan.

They were hatching their plan in the dining hall, when suddenly, an arrow went through the 12 axes (a test of the challenge set up by Penelope, whoever could shoot an arrow through the ring of each axe would be crowned king of Ithaca, they'd given up and started planning instead, though) and hit Antinous in the head, killing him swiftly, and the torches went out.

When you and the rest of the suitors looked to see who'd done it, you only saw darkness. You looked back at Antinous' now lifeless body, and realized something. Everyone here was incompetent with a bow, so, could it be..

You caught a glimpse of Odysseus, the ACTUAL king of Ithaca, presumed dead, only for a moment in the dark, before he slipped back into the shadows. He suddenly appeared next to Antinous' body, and cut off his head, and held it up, looking at it with a.. slightly manic expression. He'd heard everything.

“THIS will be your fate!"

Odysseus threw the head into the crowd of suitors, causing a gap in the group, before a couple cowards ran off, only to get shot with an arrow. You looked to see the head, and when you looked back to see Odysseus, he was gone, back in the shadows, picking off the suitors one by one. There were a couple suitors trying to escape the castle, meanwhile the rest were planning to kill Telemachus anyway, since he DID just get back from his mission.
