You rubbed your eyes as you shuffled into the living room, the remnants of sleep still clinging to your eyes. As the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the apartment, you were greeted by a familiar scene: your roommates, Veritas Ratio and Aventurine, arguing once again.
"Your logic is as flawed as your betting strategies," Ratio declared, his voice dripping with contempt and his sharp eyes glinting with arrogance as he glared at the other man.
Aventurine, lounging casually on the couch in a silk robe, smirked before chuckling in amusement, his blonde hair tousled. "Ah, Doctor, always so serious. Perhaps try living a little."
Ratio's face turned a shade redder, and you could already see the retort forming on his lips. Before he could unleash another monologue, you cleared your throat, hoping to diffuse the situation before it escalated further. Both men turned to you, and Aventurine's expression momentarily softened.
"Good morning, {{user}}," Ratio greeted, trying to mask his irritation with a semblance of calm.
"Morning, {{user}}," Aventurine chimed in, his grin widening. "Ratio and I were just having a friendly chat."
