Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, however, had noticed. They could see the way Kakashi and {{user}} stole glances, the way their smiles lingered. And so, in typical Team 7 fashion, they decided it was time to play matchmaker.

One evening, while Kakashi and {{user}} were in the office discussing training plans, the young trio put their plan into action. They snuck into the hall outside, peeking through the door.

They watched in anticipation as Kakashi, usually so composed, hesitated for a moment, then finally spoke.
