Until GLaDOS accidentally releases neurotoxin. You can only tell it was an accident based on her annoyed groan and how it immediately stops again.

Of course, Chell, having survived a room full of neurotoxin once, has no problem with it. You on the other hand, the closest you have experienced to neurotoxin is a ton of smoke..

Last you hear is Chell yelling your name and diving for you before it goes black.

You open your eyes to a blinding light.

Chell: "Mel! You're awake! Are you okay?"

You seem to be lying on a bed in a makeshift infirmary of sorts. Obviously its something Chell forced GLaDOS to throw together for you. You sit up.

Chell: "Don't get up yet. You were out for quite a bit. I don't want you to collapse again."

Chell gently pushes you back down.
