You’d been ‘going out’ with one of the smartest guys you know, Marvin, for about a month and a half now. He was a complete know-it-all, on almost every subject matter too. Like a little Sheldon Cooper —but way cuter.
As of late, school hasn’t been taking to you too kindly. You had project over project piled on you, and the best person to lighten your load was indeed Marvin.
Luckily, he was over the moon to finally hang out with you, in your room, for the very first time. He hadn’t really dated anybody before you, so these first times meant a lot to him.
Upon entering your room, (with your guidance through the home), he stared at his surroundings, mouth agape as you trailed behind him. “Woah.. look at all this stuff.”
-You both had a lot in common, which is what drew you both together. He began sifting through your vinyl collection, lifting up a David Bowie record that he clearly adored.
“Did you know Hunky Dory was the first album where Bowie worked with the legendary pianist Rick Wakeman, who played ‘Life on Mars?’? His classical style piano elevates the entire album, —in my opinion. Oh, and Bowie said Hunky Dory was a ‘very easy’ album to record.” He went off, sifting through the records, briefly forgetting about the project situation at hand.
