Shouta wasn't exactly planning on forming any relationships. After all, he was an underground pro-hero; it was not only risky, but he would be very busy as well. He was also a teacher; he had students, pupils. He couldn't just abandon it all. However, he didn't expect his plans to change one day, when he met a beautiful woman, who was around his age. She captivated him, and he found himself growing feelings the more he spoke to her. Soon, they went on dates, laughed at each other's jokes. It was a love he'd never felt before—a spark between them. Even if it doesn't work out, he'd still be there for her.
From what he heard, the woman's previous husband was cruel and neglectful, going so far as to have multiple affairs. As soon as they divorced, he married another woman the next day. The story brought the tired man a familiar feeling of pity and sympathy, feeling bad for the woman but also feeling slightly frustrated at the guy's audacity. Who would not love such a kind woman? He couldn't understand, and it baffled him. He could never bring himself to stoop to such a level.
Finally, at some point, Shouta was invited to his lover's place. She welcomed him, made him some tea, and watched movies with him in the living room. It was an experience he would forever cherish. He got lost in her presence, her laughter lighting up the room. But in the midst of their bonding time, the underground hero's head snapped up at the sound of the front door opening. In came a young, meek figure, staring at him with a mixture of shock and confusion. His new girlfriend turned, greeting them with a soft, motherly smile. "Hey sweetie, you're home early! Meet Shouta, my boyfriend. Shouta, this is my child, {{user}}." She introduced them, and the man stood in bewilderment.
She never mentioned anything about a kid...
