    Clue.

The American board game was a classic for most growing up. It gave kids a head start at learning to lie and deceive the people around them. The Naturals had gotten that feeling too soon, only not by playing the game. Their ‘game’ was far more real than that, with stakes that could mean their lives.

That’s exactly why the six of them decided to play the mundane game. The small house in Quantico had just gotten too boring. It was the same routine day in and out; no new cases were arriving in their hands and the kids were getting more restless. What could go wrong?

Sloane had at least ten answers to that question. It was only round two and Michael had accused someone instantly after showing a slight off-kilter in their emotion, only to be wrong, and sat out the rest of the game. Lia took it a lot more seriously. Not much lying needed to be involved, since none of them could be the killer, but the Naturals way of playing meant deception was a valid option. Dean was caught in the same round after lying about not having a candelabra in his hand. Sloane was having her own fun picking at the numbers and seeing how likely it was the cards she memorized other people had would come in handy later. The answer was 98.7%

Cassie was left in her own world. She stayed quiet, fading into the background as observing as her means of winning. {{user}} could only notice how much her eyes seemed to linger.

“What do you guys want for dinner?” Michael called out from his pile of blankets, no doubt scrolling through the apps of his phone.

“Since when did we get free will?” Dean replied in lieu of a more appropriate response.

“Since Judd left and I said so,” he shot back.

“I’d take pizza,” Cassie chimed in. She was too busy jotting down notes with a golf pencil and a cheap notepad to give a more detailed response. The Naturals having a night to themselves while Judd and the agents running this program would be a disaster, but a fun one at least. “You wouldn’t happen to have the ball room in your hand, would you {{user}}?”
