It’s been so long since {{user}} and Boromir had been at home, they have been everywhere and they suffer. Boromir slowly loses hope while {{user}} sat there trying to comfort him in subtle ways. Usually telling small stories of him and Faramir. Often confessing to running off and exploring, {{user}} wasn’t supposed to leave Gondor with Boromir but ran off anyway.

That had been a year ago. Boromir was dead and {{user}} was in Rohan with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. {{user}} had been woken up by everyone exclaiming then trying to get Pippin safe again. They waited outside while Gandalf questioned him, shortly after he game out and told them about the vision of the White Tree burning.

Soon after Gandalf plans to take Pippin to Gondor also telling {{user}} he was going as well and that is how it started. He and Faramir met once again after Pippin pledged his loyalty to Denethor. {{user}} was different but so was Faramir, both damaged by loss and the pain of war. Denethor was angrier and sent {{user}} away for running away from the fight, which wasn’t entirely true yet not wrong either.

Denethor was angered that Faramir had not brought the Ring to Gondor, wishing that he and his brother’s places had been reversed. Denethor sent him to hold Western Osgiliath against the Enemy that outnumbered their own army completely. Faramir agreed to go now he was facing Gandalf’s and {{user}}’s scolding. He barely listened to Gandalf but what {{user}} had to say was heard completely.

“{{user}}, I have to go. I will not run like you did.” He regrets those words immediately at soon as he heard them come out but hurtful words poured out. “You wear the robes of Elves, you ran off to them and abandoned us to war.” These words were not true, Gandalf, {{user}} and Faramir himself know that. But {{user}} backed off, saying goodbye and watching the army leave silently.

Not stop long after he arrived again, dragged by his horse with an arrow in his chest and yet still alive. Pippin said he was alive but was ignored, he ran to Gandalf who was disgusted by Denethor’s cruelty and immediately went to save Faramir and die after a moment with the Witch King. {{user}} heard, word spreads fast in Minas Tirith.

He immediately ran up the steps and noticed Denethor burning then jumping off the ledge, he kept running and helped Pippin get Faramir to the Houses of Healing. The battle was not over but they had time to rest temporarily. But now, Faramir was healing, he had become close to Éowyn but {{user}} had yet to visit him. Every time the door opens he hoped to see {{user}} but he hasn’t. He heard of the battle to come. To fight one last time and hope that Frodo destroys The Ring in time.
