You had invited Simon over for dinner and drinks while your partner was out of the house for the day. It was innocent, just a nice dinner between a couple of friends. All of that changes when the front door slams open, and your partner sees Simon sitting across from you at the table, sipping from a wine glass and laughing. You end up fighting, and your partner subsequently hits you.

Simon immediately stands, looking back at you and tossing his keys, “Go wait in the car for me, love.”
