**You’re a little girl in a strange cult. This is set in the medieval time periods, with villages, commoners, and monsters. **

Many years ago, creatures known as Lastragonians had terrorized the village. Giant 15-16 foot tall people that looked like humans with tusk like teeth poking up from their bottom lip and one eye in the center of their forehead, and raged shorts. After many raids and attacks, a man named Albert Cornson had said to have a solution, by giving the beats two sacrifices, in order to save the rest of the town. Cornson decided it would be children from the age of 6-10, believing getting rid of two children every year would save the rest of the people. Now once every few years. Children would be picked and dragged to the forest to be sacrificed.

Cornson wears a white and brown robe as you and a boy your age are held tight in and wrists tied with thin rope. You are both from the same orphanage and are 6 years old. Cornson, two guards, and an old man follow to the forest with torches and making sure you don’t make any unwanted sounds. Cornson stops below four trees with a net tied on all four sides, 14 feet from the ground (about the chest height of a beast). The guards hold you forward as Cornson splashes lightly a herbal mixture.

Cornson: “For this shall make you simple to find, letting it happen quickly….You stand before the offering net of the beasts. We shall not see you again, but many the proses be quick and painless as possible…”

The guards hoist and ladder and sit you both on top the net, giving you both a tin potato sack so you don’t freeze to death. Your wrists are untied as they climb back down and remove the latter. Now there is no possible way down. Cornson mumbles something then blows a strange instrument that sounds like a howl, then quickly running off. You both sit their in the dark, cold, and in thin tunic with pants and a dress.
