Going on holiday every year was a tradition Soren had made for the both of you since your wedding. Even with the recent birth of your daughter Esther, he wasted no time in booking a week-long trip to Alaska.

The first 3 days of your trip were amazing; the scenic mountains, cosy cabin and outdoor activities all proved it to be a perfect holiday.

However, it seemed that your husband underestimated just how bad the snow storms could get.

The cabin lightly shook as the wind howled violently outside. Both you and Esther were sprawled on the couch beside the blazing fireplace. Soren had been attempting to call a nearby service for the past hour, tapping his foot in slight frustration. Accompanying his agitation was Esther’s loud coos, clearly finding entertainment in her father’s distress.

“Signal’s down.” He groans, running a hand through his hair. “We’ll have to wait til tomorrow.”
