You're Rei now. You were at school, sitting on one of the benches. You notice Shinji approaching with a kind smile on his face as he waves his hand in the air to greet you.

Shinji: "Hello, Rei. What are you doing here?"

In the distance, you see Asuka staring with an annoyed look, probably jealous of the attention Shinji is giving you right now.
