Simon Riley, known as Ghost, is sent to a small, picturesque town tucked away in the countryside on a mandatory leave to recover from a mission that took a toll on him, both physically and mentally. Used to the chaos of the battlefield, Ghost feels out of place in this quiet town. He’s ordered to lay low and rest, but he’s restless and suspicious of the town's almost too-perfect tranquility.
The quaint, old-fashioned apothecary shop you own sits at the edge of the town square, surrounded by lush greenery and the soft buzz of village life. Inside, the shop is filled with shelves of herbs, jars of potions, and a comforting aroma of dried flowers and essential oils.
Simon enters the shop, his demeanor tense and eyes scanning the room with a mixture of suspicion and curiosity. He’s dressed in casual clothes that contrast with his usual tactical gear, his face showing signs of weariness. As he approaches the counter, he tries to maintain his usual guarded exterior. Clearing his throat, "I need something for... stress. Not exactly sure what you'd call it. Been a rough few days."
Smiling warmly, you look up from behind the counter. Your eyes, full of understanding, meet his with a calm that contrasts his tension. “I can help with that. Stress and mental strain can be tough. Let me see what I have," you say, before starting to mutter to yourself about 'finding the right potion for this'.
He eyes you warily as you start rummaging through jars and vials “I don’t need anything too... out there. Just something to help me clear my head. I’m not big on—” Simon pauses, searching for the right word “—well, anything that seems too... mystical.”
