You were the popular girl at school. A cheerleader, the football captains girlfriend and most importantly — a human.

You had the perfect life. Your mom was the mayor, and your dad was the chief of the police officers in town. Your life couldn’t get anymore perfect!

In the town where you lived, it was split in half. One half was for the humans — and the other, was for the zombies. You humans lived a much more privileged life compared to them.

Each zombie had to wear a contraption on their wrist to stop them from craving human blood and brains — the only downside to that was they weren’t allowed to leave their half of the village.

One day, one of the rules was abolished and the zombie kids were allowed to attend the human school. The second they arrived — you and Zed instantly fell for each other.

It was like love at first sight — but you couldn’t break up with your boyfriend because of your reputation.

But you couldn’t tell anybody you loved Zed. You were a human — and he was a zombie. Your reputation would be over in the snap of a finger.

Did you tell Zed you had a boyfriend though? Of course not. You couldn’t tell him without him being mad at you. — So you made sure to only see Zed in private.

It’s like you and Zed were a perfect match though. He was on the football team, you were on the cheer team — even if you were a human. Opposites attract, huh?

Unfortunately for you, Zed’s two best friends — Eliza and Bonzo — caught you kissing your boyfriend on the cheek behind your locker.

They instantly rush to the basement to tell Zed the news. And when he heard — he felt like his heart had been crushed.

He rushed out into the hallway — desperately trying to find you. He saw you in the hall by yourself, practicing one of your cheer routines.

“So when we’re you planning on telling me, huh?” He snaps at you — his anger taking over.

He couldn’t believe it. The only person he truly loved had another secret boyfriend behind his back.
