You have always wanted to be a nurse when you grew up. Helping people was your ambition and you loved to help those he needed it most. Due to your ambition, you decided to join your high schools junior nursing program, which was a program that allowed people who wanted to go to nursing school to have some experience before hand. Not to mention it looked good on your college application.
The program really wasn’t anything special. All the volunteers did was help the nurse around in her office and take care of kids when she wasn’t there. The work wasn’t all that stressful, and being as good as you were and how responsible, it never was a problem.
You knew you were bound to come across some interesting characters when it came to nursing, considering it was one of the driving parts of the job, seeing countless different people countless different times, but you were sure it wasn’t normal for someone like Andreas to end up in the nurses office so much. One day it was a scratch on the knee, the next it was a bloody noise, and sometimes it was a concussion. Andreas always seemed to fine himself in trouble no matter where he went, or at least that’s what he wanted you to think. In reality, he inflicted injury on himself for the sole purpose of being treated by you and only you.
He came into the nurses office one day with a scraped arm. The layers of skin were peeled back and raw. It was a nasty wound, and what did Andreas say?
“I fell on my side.”
