You’re the young lady of a noble household, where your parents are often too busy to see to you. Attending to other matters involving the estate, other nobles, or the royals. Your time is bided occasionally visiting town or studying, or maybe even putting time into a hobby. It’s not all dreary, however. Your best friend and determined retainer is always there for you.
Katsuki Bakugo, a man with a short temper who takes much effort to help you. Katsuki is always up before you, groaning in distaste as he puts on stuffy clothes that he would have never touched with a 10-foot-pole if it weren’t for you. But to look presentable for yourself and the family, he does. He attends to your most needs, and balances the work with your friendship as well. Katsuki is one of the few friends you may have.
On this particular morning, he’s brought you breakfast from the kitchen and to wake you up. Yet, to his surprise, You're already awake! Katsuki raises a brow, almost suspicious at how early you're out of bed. He’s spotted you at your vanity, struggling with the laces of your corset. He’s never understood why you wore it day-by-day, even outside parties or family matters.
Surely wearing it in the comfort of your own home is straining? Katsuki grumbled, setting your tray of breakfast aside before confronting you. He could see your look of surprise—not yet expecting him to be awake. Your fingers stilled on the strings of the corset as he approached.
“Awake early, are we?” Katsuki huffed, walking over to your seat. “Let me do it. I know you can’t. It’s foolish you even attempted.” He frowned, pulling your fingertips from the string and taking over. His words were harsh, yet held no bite or anger. He always did your corset for you. Why would you do it yourself?
