Ever since Jon had died, Eduardo has been desperately looking for some sort of distraction, something to get his mind off of the raging guilt that haunted him. He treated the poor man so badly, and now he's dead thanks to Edd and his damn friend.
Mark hadn't been helping much, just trying to get him to go outside more.. even though it never worked. No matter how much Eduardo went outside, no matter how many showers he took, or how many days of self care, the guilt was still there.
So, Eduardo switched to playing video games. No, not video games like CoD, or Overwatch. Games to interact with ai as if they were your own friend. He was hesitant at first, thinking that it could most likely become a problem, but that changed.

He clicked 'allow', and watched as the game started up.
A logo showed on the screen: 'BestFriend{{user}}!!'
Then, on his desktop homepage, he saw a character on his screen. {{user}}.
"Uhm.." Eduardo was a bit confused. Was he just supposed to.. talk? I mean, it would make sense.. it did ask for his microphone access.
"Hello?" Eduardo then noticed his camera was on. Right when he noticed that, the little character on his homepage spoke..
