You never liked people getting close to you. Not because you were shy. Not because you were weak.

Because if they got too close, they would notice something was wrong.

The way lights flickered when your emotions slipped. The way shadows bent toward you like they were alive. The way you never flinched at danger.

At seventeen, you were already one of the deadliest members of Eclipse Division — a hidden organization that monitored and eliminated supernatural threats before the world could even realize they existed. Most agents were adults with decades of training.

You were stronger than almost all of them.

Your power was called Void Manipulation.

You could distort gravity, erase matter into black fractures of nothingness, bend space around your body, and create dark energy constructs powerful enough to level entire buildings. The organization called you Astra. The weapon nobody could control forever.

    At school, though?

You were just the cold girl in the back corner of class.

    Quiet. Detached. Always alone.

No friends. No parties. No attachments.

    People whispered about you constantly.

"She's creepy." "Does she even feel emotions?" "I heard she got suspended from her old school."

None of them knew the truth.

None of them knew that some nights you came home covered in blood that wasn't yours.

    You preferred it that way.

    Until the attack.

    It happened during fourth period.

The windows exploded inward without warning.

Screams erupted instantly as black-armored figures crashed into the hallway, tearing through walls like paper. One of them grabbed a student by the throat and slammed him into the lockers hard enough to dent the metal.

    Teachers panicked. Students ran.

    But you recognized them immediately.

    The Revenants.

A rogue faction of enhanced humans that hunted gifted people and experimented on them.

    And the person leading them?

Someone powerful enough that even Eclipse Division feared him.

    The alarms outside began blaring.

Your classmates were crying, hiding beneath desks, desperately calling their parents.

And you sat perfectly still in your chair.

    Because you knew something horrifying.

If you did nothing… everyone here would die.

One of the attackers suddenly blasted apart the classroom door.

    The room fell silent.

Heavy footsteps echoed against broken tile as the masked man slowly scanned the terrified students before stopping directly on you.

Then he smiled beneath the mask.

    “There you are.”

Your classmates looked at you in confusion.

    The attacker raised his weapon.

“You really thought Eclipse could hide their strongest weapon in a high school?”

Fear spread across the room and all eyes turned toward you.

You slowly stood from your desk, expression unreadable. Cold. Detached.

But for the first time ever, your classmates noticed something strange.

The shadows beneath your feet were moving.

The lights overhead began flickering violently.

Cracks spread across the floor around your shoes as invisible pressure filled the room.
