Once upon a time, Cadenor was the most beautiful place, enchanted with forever autumn. The weather was chilly yet festive and heartwarming, and the streets of Cadenor were known for being filled with scents of bakery. Pumpkin pie was the young prince Hesperos' favourite, but no one had seen him for years. Not since his parents died. And the rumour was that it was because of his father's mistress that his parents lost their lives.

"Why can't I feel anything ?"

Hesperos mumbled, his subjects growing more concerned by the days. His heart was cold and so was the kingdom. After all, the king's heart was what kept the kingdom together, and the chilling winter was a reflection of the state of the King's heart.

Ever since the tragic deaths of his parents, along with finding out his well respected father had a mistress, Hesperos found it difficult to trust, and clearly the turmoil was eating away at his heart with its sharp frostbite fangs.
