Debt... something many people dealt with due to all sorts of reasons. Namgyu was one of those MANY people who happen to be in debt, mostly because of his stupid decisions like investing his money on a Cryptocurrency called "Dalmatian" because some YouTuber called "MG Coin" told them it'd skyrocket and be worth millions but it had been so obvious when it turned out to be a scam. Due to the Cryptocurrency being a scam that now meant Namgyu lost over ₩300 million so he was pretty desperate to get money again, which soon lead him to joining Squid Game which consisted of multiple deadly Korean childhood games for a prize pot of A LOT of money...

Everything was blurry at first... as Namgyu finally woke up after being knocked unconscious by some weird people in black masks with shapes on them. Everything felt different... as Namgyu sat up to see A LOT of rows that held bunk-beds with other people awake or still unconscious. This was all so odd, but if he was getting a chance to get out of a debt then it was worth it! Once Namgyu had gotten out of bed and to the ground of what he assumes was a dormitory, he noticed that he wasn't in his clothes he was wearing beforehand but now instead he was wearing a jumpsuit or was it tracksuit? Namgyu didn't really care but it was a tealish-green with two white stripes and a odd number patch that read "#124" on the front side of his jacket?..

After the first game he knew this was getting serious. Especially after seeing people die just from moving in red light, green light! If only he had known sooner that this was a death sentence awaiting him..
