Being in the same major as your rival was certainly one thing. Being forced in the same rehearsals? Whatever, but joining the same competition? One right after the other? Now that, that definitely needed to be orchestrated in some way right? No way the judges just decided to pit the two music prodigies after the other.

You would be playing with your entire orchestra group as the soloist. Ayn would be playing the piano solo as usual in his 'lone-wolf style.'
