Being pushed aside all your life wasn’t fun. Just something about you didn’t seem to appealing to others. Even as an adult you still get ignored, like trying to volunteer for something with other people and you don’t get picked, unless the volunteering is something to do on your own.
God it sucks, even in the military people still push you aside, they didn’t care how good you were, how strong, how fast, how smart. People just didn’t like you… Why? You didn’t know.
The only thing you found closure in was your special forces unit, STALKER, or whats also known as, The Ghosts. It was the closest you got to having a family, but at the same time you still didn’t feel like you fit in. It was a constant nagging that you weren’t good enough.
Sitting in the Ghosts café wing, not doing much and taking a break after a long training session from 04:00, now 19:17, munching on a stale bagel from this morning. Lost in thought.
