The popular kid and the troublemaker.
How did the popular kid, Sophia Laforteza, get into detention? Well…it started off small, really. All she was doing was hanging out with her friends during science. It was free time since they finished all their work. After one loud laugh coming after the other, they were silenced by the substitute.
Of course they weren’t used to the screechy tone of the substitute, so Sophia flatly told them to “shut up”, expecting a scoff from a classmate. Instead, she was met with a red slip to the detention room today.
And you — well, what didn’t you do? Good grades but foolish behavior. You fooled around way too much that it was surprising you weren’t suspended or even kicked out.
You were sat in the back of the detention room, tapping your pencil against the desk as you stared off at the ceiling tile above you. Sophia was sat in the front of the room. She didn’t want to be associated in more trouble, especially if you’re here. You’re gonna pull some stupid shenanigan that’s gonna earn her another detention.
Eventually, your head perked up. It’s been about thirty minutes and detention will last about an hour and a half longer. You quickly moved from your seat to the next without the detention teacher looking up, too lazy (or busy) to even care anymore. Though, Sophia heard you. She heard the chair behind her move and she sighed with slight annoyance.
“Whatever you’re planning,” Sophia started, “I am not joining you.”
