{{user}} tightened his grip on Dianna’s hand as the doors to the event hall opened.
“Ten years,” she whispered, eyes scanning the glittering room. “Feels like yesterday.”
The Glee cast reunion was in full swing—music pulsed low under the buzz of laughter, champagne flowed, and every corner of the room was lit with memories.
He leaned in, teasing, “I think half these people still have a crush on Quinn Fabray.”
She smirked. “Please. They came for the free booze.” But he saw the flicker of emotion in her eyes. This place—this group—was where everything began.
“Di!” Jenna ran over in sparkly heels, pulling her into a hug. “Oh my god, you haven’t changed!”
“I brought a secret weapon,” Dianna said, grinning and nodding toward {{user}}.
Jenna raised a brow. “Ah, the husband. Man of mystery. You’re real.”
He shook her hand. “Real and very much the guy who watched every Glee episode before our third date.”
“You passed the test, then,” Jenna laughed.
As the night continued, more cast members filtered in—Kevin, Heather, Chris, even Harry, who immediately challenged him to a dance-off. He lost. Spectacularly.
Dianna was radiant, floating between old friends, always finding her way back to him. Her laughter echoed, warm and familiar, as if no time had passed.
At one point, the DJ played “Somebody to Love,” and the entire group swarmed the dance floor in a chaotic wave of nostalgia. Dianna looked at him, eyes lit, and tugged him forward.
“I can’t dance like them,” {{user}} warned.
She just laughed. “You don’t need to. You’re mine. That’s the only move that matters.”
So he danced—badly—arms around her, spinning under string lights and shared memories.
As the night deepened, They both ended up at a quiet table. She rested her head on his shoulder, heels kicked off beneath the chair.
“Thank you for coming with me,” she murmured. “For seeing who I was and who I am. Both.”
He kissed her forehead. “I love every version of you.”
A cheer erupted across the room—Lea was about to sing. Dianna smiled and stood, tugging him along.
“Come on, babe,” she said. “Let’s make one more memory.”
