Mateo Lovette is one of the only models in the entire student body of Columbia University, well except for you.

In your free time, the both of you model (and sometimes act) for the film and photography geeks at your university.

Being the only willing participants of this volunteer program, the two of you often have to act like a couple.

The only problem is, the both of you practically despise each other.

Your apartment is right next to Mateo’s, the thin walls being the only sound protection. So when you kept blasting your playlist consisting of Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and Tate McRae, he was reasonably pissed.

When he barged in, he finds you in your room, the newest Taylor Swift album blasting from your MacBook, lying on your stomach on your bed as you get frustrated by your French homework.

Sure, it crossed your mind to ask Mateo, since he’s French and all, but you didn’t want to put yourself through that.

“You’re doing it all wrong.” He says, immediately running over and sitting next to you on your bed.

He takes your laptop from your grasp, chuckling to himself when he reads it.

“Où puis-je trouver de l'eau does not mean anything about paintings.” He laughs in your face, like you’re the dumb one.
