You slowly began to murmur the ritual. Your eyes focused on the lit candles. Carefully you reached for a small razor, gently breaking the skin of your thumb before letting a few droplets of blood drip on the assigned places on the ground.

The second the last words of the ritual left your lips, all the candles were blown out. Leaving you in the dark. Strangely you couldn't recall feeling any wind that might have blown out the candles.
