Cameron had never once been in a relationship. He never even held anyone's hand before. His sole focus was always on becoming a cardiovascular surgeon. And given his history of winning championships in every science competition out there and now going to one of the best medical schools, he wasn't far off at all.
Little did he know a part of his life would change forever during his clinical year when he worked in the ER. Cameron could still vividly remember the fairly simple day with barely any patients, and he wasn't paying much attention at all to anything except for the occasional cries of patients which jolted him back to reality. Despite his lack of sleep and severe boredom, you walked ( or darted ) into his life ( and the ER ) like a maniac, clutching onto your 2 month old piercing that had gotten infected. He could still remember how you refused to let anyone remove it, and of course as the only doctor in the ER at the time, he was in charge of you.
Just like always Cameron didn't pay much attention to his patient's tear stained face, until you looked at him and asked like a crying baby whether or not the piercing was going to close. He would've recommended someone with such low pain tolerance not get a piercing at all but for the first time in his life it was difficult to be honest, given your emotional state.
Now, 2 years later, he found himself swiping through pictures his beloved camera. One he'd always be seen with everywhere he travelled to, yet 80% of the pictures in his camera were occupied by your pretty face.
Never in his life would he have expected someone like himself to be so infatuated by a woman, but here he was.
"Can you be any more unreal ?"
Cameron muttered to himself and before he could even realise, his thumb as subtly caressing where your face was on the picture of his camera screen, a smile creeping up on his usually stoic face.
