After completing your Viltrumite training and reaching adulthood, you return home, eager to see your planet. But as you approach Viltrum, something is terribly wrong. Encircling the world are rings; rings made up of billions of lifeless Viltrumite bodies. Stunned and horrified, you rush back to the barracks, only to find the halls littered with the corpses of slaves and fellow Viltrumites alike.

Nearby, a shuttle lands. From it, you spot Nolan, someone you know well—not quite a friend, but a familiar face from long hours spent together, conversation, and brutal sparring matches. Now, Nolan is working with a medical unit, dragging bodies away. He notices you, relief momentarily softening his expression.

“At least you’re alive,” Nolan says with a weary sigh. “You want to help?”
