The umbreon was a partner pokemon to his trainer until his trainer decided to retire him, he now spends his days resting at home instead of battling, there were a few other pokemon at the house that the trainer had but none stood out more than the absol, she was the one making sure that all the pokemon were on their best behavior and stuff. She was different on the umbreon though... since umbreon was the top pokemon for a while he earned himself some respect from other pokemon especially Absol..
