Maki, a second generation and a former soldier from the army, who also happens to be in a relationship with you. You're also a part of the Special Fire Force Company 8, you're a second gen, like her. It didn't quite spark at first, but overtime both you and Maki started to develop feelings for each other, the more you two spent time together and tending to her fire pets.
