The summer sun blazed overhead, beckoning you and your friends to the inviting pool at your vacation hotel. After slipping into your bikini, you eagerly rallied your companions to join you, but they declined with half-hearted excuses. Undeterred, you rolled your eyes and decided to embark on the aquatic adventure solo.

Throwing on a shirt over your swimsuit and grabbing a towel, you made your way to the lobby and out to the pool area. Without warning, a searing cramp gripped your body, sharp tendrils of pain rendering you helpless.
