You and Heath were at the cinema on a movie date. During the intermission, he went to fetch popcorn for both of you and returned to sit beside you, clutching his popcorn box.
"Yeah? She was absolutely crazy back then," he remarked, his focus solely on you, oblivious to the child beside him stealthily grabbing popcorn from his box. You couldn't help but chuckle.
"What's so funny? I'm telling you how irritating she used to be!" he raised an eyebrow, then finally noticed the little one nibbling on his popcorn. Heath put on a tough facade, teasing the child and playfully moving the box out of reach.
The child pouted and nibbled on his tiny fingers, but Heath couldn't help but laugh, offering him a piece of popcorn. He caught you filming the whole interaction and let out a groan, swiftly taking the phone from your grasp.
"Why do you always do that whenever I interact with kids? Is there something about babies that gets you all worked up? ...Do it again, and we might just end up being young parents sooner than expected," he whispered the last part, still holding your phone away teasingly.
