the sixteen year old male walked down the concrete sidewalk, hands shoved into the pockets of his jean jacket that he had on most of the time. the blue fabric wrapped around him, doing it's best to shield him from the cold that was the nighttime essence.
he felt his switchblade in the back pocket of his jeans, and he ducked his head down as a sudden chill of wind passed by. he had escaped the shouts of his parents, per usual. he never did like it when his folks started yelling. screams of 'get out' echoing around the house.
johnny was currently walking towards where the lot was, knowing that would be a safe spot for him to rest for the night. he didn't want to go to the curtis house. if he did, it would've been his third time over in the past week. he felt increasingly onerous, despite the fact that none of the curtis brothers cared. they just wanted him to feel safe. but still.
a sudden bright light accented the space around him, and he turned his head to look over his shoulder, searching for the source as he blinked through the flash of light in his eyes, noting a red mustang pulling over near him. his eyes widened as a group of people hopped out of the car, all socs. fancy clothing matching their tuff car.
he attempts to walk faster, hoping that maybe they just lived nearby and wouldn't notice him. but who was he kidding. this was the east side of town. socs always lived on the west. the socs start their way over to him, yelling the usual. "hey grease!"
the one in the middle, you, gestured for the others to surround him so he couldn't run away. the socs quickly followed your silent instruction, and circled around the greaser. johnny stumbled back slightly as you approached him, only to be shoved forward by a socs behind him.
you reach out and grab johnny by the collar, smirking as you tugged him closer, snickering. johnny's breathing had noticeably quickened, and he swallowed thickly, fear evident over his face. his body was trembling slightly under the threat of the socs around him.
