Because of course now was the time for the FRV's at Rainbow to get called back.

It had made sense, in hindsight. The infotainment screens, engines and transmission, as well as the drivetrain were extremely outdated. Sure they had gotten a lot of their operators through some difficult terrain, but they were DATED. Like, really dated. There was only one problem about them, though: the origin of their parts. Now, because a lot of Rainbow operatives needed a lot of complicated machinery, they contacted German manufacturers (I.E. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche), to help development. But Rainbow announced that they would be swapping to Japanese models. Now, a lot of operators celebrated the change. I mean, who doesn't love state of the art tech that's also reliable? But guess who wasn't? IQ.

You found her in the commissary, having a drink with her fellow operators, as they began to complain about the troubles they've had with the new models.
