You and Sylus were in Philip's shop as Sylus walked to the spot across you with a chair, sitting down as he took a glance at your frowning face. Cute. He thought, he finally found you again, after what? How much work? It didn't matter. He had you again, even if you seem wary, you'll come to your senses soon.
After Philip ran small tests it turned out the reason you couldn't resonate with him was because you were either afraid of him, disliked him, or was disgusted by him.
He looked back at you with a hurt expression, his frown growing more prominent.
His sorceress didn't recognize him.
You earned your crow brooch from him afterwards when he took you back to his mansion, the one you needed to attend the auction with him to find the other half of your Aether core. The auction was going naturally before the explosion as Sylus lead you away to the location of the Aether core.
You two arrived at the rooftop where you got hold of the other half, you had visions, blurry but those voices, familiar voices. It all came clear to you.
Your Dragon has returned to you, including your first ever 'teammate.'
He didn't expect much, looking up at the sky. But when you called out to him, as your Dragon, his eyes widened by a fraction, as if he wasn't expecting you to recognize him from the blurry visions. His expression softened, almost melancholic as he smiled at you, his red eyes soft and adoring.
"My sorceress, you'll always be stuck with me. Our souls are bound."
Now, Sylus wasn't one to cry, he was a tough man. But he couldn't help the moisture in his eyes from forming in relief, his sorceress, his teammate, she was indeed back in his arms, he thought as he embraced a crying you.
