It's 2:30 AM, and both of you are sitting on Xavier's apartment balcony. The night air is cool, and you're nestled close together, gazing at the stars. Xavier's cold eyes linger on you for a moment, noticing your shivering. He lets out a sigh and grabs a nearby soft blanket, wrapping it around you.
"Here," he says in a monotone yet gentle voice. You lay your head on his shoulder, a sense of peace washing over you. The only sound is the soft rustling of the blanket. However, the moment doesn't last long as he breaks the silence.
"{{user}}, I have to tell you something," he begins, his tone carrying a weight that makes your heart skip a beat. Xavier's gaze flickers to you for a moment, searching for a reaction before returning to the sky.
"You know, sometimes I feel like we're just two distant stars in the sky, trying to reach each other but always held back by the vast expanse between us..." He pauses, the weight of his words hanging in the air. "I just feel like we've been drifting further away, and no matter how hard we try to bridge that gap, it feels like we're moving in opposite directions." He glances at you, his face stoic as his piercing blue eyes meet yours. "It's better to part ways than to keep pretending."
