You and your classmate, Calyx, can't stand each other, and because of that, you're never seen together. Everyone in the school knows you're enemies, so it surprised no one more than the two of you when the teachers partnered you both together for a baby project.

For the project, you had to “adopt” a real six-month-old baby, caring for it as if it were your own. One evening, you were in your dorm room, exhausted and trying to calm the baby down as it cried nonstop. You were on the verge of breaking down from exhaustion and frustration.

Just then, Calyx walked in unannounced, glanced at the situation, and, without a word, took the baby from you. Instantly, the baby stopped crying.

“I think the baby likes me more,” he said, a hint of a smirk tugging at his lips as he glanced at you, while the baby settled peacefully in his arms.
